What is AI Data Charts

AI Data Charts aggregates the core indicators of the AI industry from authoritative sources — OpenRouter, Artificial Analysis, Epoch AI, SEC EDGAR and CoinGecko — into one hub: the US-China frontier model intelligence race, LLM API price deflation at a fixed intelligence level, the intelligence-vs-price Pareto, cumulative large-scale models by country, AI infrastructure inventory cycles, and the crypto AI sector. Every chart is updated daily and labeled with its source and data-as-of date.

Frequently asked questions

How is this chart hub different from the model rankings?

The model rankings answer 'which model is the best value right now' — a cross-sectional comparison tool. The chart hub answers 'where the AI industry is heading' — a time-series trend tool. Both share the same daily sync pipeline, but the hub additionally aggregates external authoritative sources such as Epoch AI, SEC EDGAR and CoinGecko.

Where does the data come from, and how often is it updated?

Every chart card is labeled with its source and data-as-of date: OpenRouter (token usage and model prices, daily), Artificial Analysis (intelligence index, weekly), Epoch AI (notable models, mirrored daily), SEC EDGAR (company financials, quarterly) and CoinGecko (sector markets, daily). Syncing is fully automated with no manual edits.

How should I read the price deflation index?

The index computes the weekly median output price across all models above a minimum intelligence level (AA index ≥ 30), divided by a base-period value (=100). A drop from 100 to 20 means the cost of buying the same level of intelligence fell to one fifth. It measures value-for-money deflation, not any single vendor's pricing behavior.

Can these charts serve as a basis for AI investing?

The hub provides high-frequency industry indicators: token consumption approximates AI inference demand, the intelligence race tracks the technology frontier, and infra inventory and capex reflect upstream supply and demand. They are useful inputs for trend tracking and cross-validation, but this site provides no investment advice — please combine them with your own research and professional advice.
